Garage Saling

I don't know about everyone else but I love going to garage sales.  I used to do it all the time back in high school.  I picked up some of the ugliest outfits imaginable.  My favorite outfit was a three piece denim suit, which I bought for a dollar and found two dollars in the pocket.  Well I went out junk hunting again this Saturday and found a couple of impressive pieces of junk.  




I found these two gems at the end of the hunt. How anyone could get rid of these two awesome whiskey decanters is beyond me. Now all I need to do is develop a taste for whiskey, which currently makes me gag.

I also bought a huge belt buckle for only fifty cents. On it are two cowboys lassoing a steer, which is the most redneck thing I think I've ever seen. I'd post a picture of it but I left it in my car and it is raining pretty hard right now.

Meet MacGyver

I have taken lots of pictures of my cat MacGyver.  So I went looking for the one picture that sums up my cat perfectly.  Amazingly I don't have one of him sitting like a person licking his own ass.  So I settled on the following picture:



Other then licking his own ass, eating rubber bands, and watching Animal Planet MacGyver's favorite pastime is sitting on the ledge in my room and staring at things he'd like to play with and eat.  Not only did the rabbit not run away while the cat meowed loudly and pawed at the window, but it laid down just feet from him and yawned.  

First post

Well this is my first attempt at a blog.  My hope is that I don't lose interest in it and abandon it after a few weeks like I do with so many of my other projects.  I really think that I need to hire an assistant.  About a year ago a coworker and I were contemplating getting one because we had so many good ideas, but we were blessed with an amazing amount of laziness.  Oh well, I guess what I want to put on this blog are just some of my ramblings about work, current events, and the internets.
